Fishing Trip Questions: How far from shore does the boat go? Since our fishing trip is designed as an experience for beginning fishermen or people who just want to enjoy a cruise out on the water, we stay in close to shore. Our fishing adventure is not for "hardcore" fishermen. Fishing grounds are about 20 minutes away from the marina. What items should passengers bring with them? You'll want to dress according to the weather. It can sometimes be a little chilly on the water during the evening trip, so you should bring a jacket. During the day, be sure to bring sunscreen. Beverages are sold on board. What is the cancelation policy? Because of limited space available on our boat, we ask that if you need to cancel your reservation, please do so at least 30 days prior to your scheduled trip. Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to your scheduled trip are refunded in full. How far in advance should fishing trips be booked? During the busy winter season, our boat fills up fast, so you should make your reservations as soon as possible -- preferably at least 30 days in advance. Seafood Restaurant Questions: Is the water safe to drink? Yes! We use purified water in all of our cooking. We serve purified water, and all of our ice is made wiht purified water. Will you cook our own fish for us? We will happily cook your day's catch in our restaurant for $5 USD per person. You can also pick out your dinner in our fish market and we'll cook it for you! Fish Market Questions: Is the fish market clean and sanitary? Our fish market is cleaned and sanitized everyday and throughout the day. We are proud to have one of the cleanest fish markets in Baja California Sur. Are fish and seafood kept refrigerated? We are the only fish market in Baja California Sur to have our own custom-built, in-ground 50-ton freezer system. All of our products are kept refrigerated throughout the day and frozen and stored in our freezer as appropriate. We handle a lot of fresh fish! How fresh are fish and seafood? Depending on when you buy your seafood, it's not uncommon to find fish and seafood products in our market that were alive in the water only a few hours before. We aim to provide the freshest and highest quality seafood of any other fish market in Baja California. Where do you obtain seafood and fish? Many of our products come from our own fishing boats right here in Cabo San Lucas. We also purchase fresh fish from fishermen in La Paz, two hours away. All are carefully maintained in refrigeration and on ice. |
